Report from Senior Conference 2017

Me and Louis attended Senior Conference where we explored the theme of diversity within Quakerism.  We heard from speakers Tony Clapp, Sam Walton and a representative from Quaker World Relations Report from Senior Conference 2017

Me and Louis attended Senior Conference where we explored the theme of diversity within Quakerism.  We heard from speakers Tony Clapp, Sam Walton and a representative from Quaker World Relations Committee, who told us about the variation in Quaker meetings within different countries, showing that being a Quaker can mean very different things to different people.

We also enjoyed lifelines and chatrooms. Lifelines consisted of team members speaking about their lives and the diversity and Quakerism within it. In chatrooms we had the opportunity to discuss and listen to other opinions surrounding the main theme.
We really took pleasure in seeing our friends and meeting new friends, making the atmosphere warm and friendly which we greatly appreciated when receiving our results. We thank the meeting again for funding and support for us attending Senior Conference.
